Stealth Your CD Rom Drive So No One Will Know You Have One
Tools Needed:
Bull nose Cutters or Dremel with Cut Off Wheel
Double Sided Tape
STEP ONE:
Using your Bull nose Cutter Slowly nibble away the side material to create a flat piece of plastic. (its best to use an extra 5.25 drive bay cover that came with your system to ensure a good fit as well as a color match. Take you time because if you take to big if nibbles it will crack the whole thing.)
STEP TWO:
Take two pieces of double sided take about 1" long and apply them to the CD tray. (only the part that comes out) Then apply your drive cover you already modded leaving and even gap at all sides as to not bind on the other drives and or drive covers.
STEP THREE:
Open and close the drive bay a couple of times to make sure nothing is hitting. Make any adjustments accordingly.
